Echoes of Wildlife
The ambition for wildlife filmmakers is to create a film that is both entertaining and educational. As a result, narrative strategies that wander between fiction and reality emerge. The project started it's journey at redefining wildlife documentaries as wildlife films to separate fiction from fact. Sound, an in important component in post-production is used by filmmakers to construct narratives and to characterize animals. This project combines animal noises with Hans Zimmer's orchestral music to create an interactive space that explores the function of sound in a wildlife film narrative and animal characterization for children aged 8-11.
