Colors of Collective Disobedience

Colours of Collective Disobedience is a series of work that uses various means to visually analyse the use of colour and its importance in social movements. Although there has been research on how colours affect various social movements, less has been done on how it is utilised, and how it acts as a tool to sustain and engender collective identity within its participants. The project fuses technology with art by employing methods such as coding to compute the average colours of these social movements identified.
