Memes as Critical Communication: Between Sense and Nonsense

Memes, as simple and funny as they are, hold a communicative strength with their ability to easily resonate and educate on particular discourses to a diverse audience. This design project is conceived as an exploration to analyse the criticality in memes, understanding how memes can be a valid form of graphic design through generating and designing the memes themselves as means to inform and communicate. The result is a collection of self-generated memes as a personal take based on the experiences and challenges faced by the designer herself in attempt to address the issues faced by graphic designers through memes.
